Spencer Cheyne

Spencer Cheyne is a Juno award winning Mixer, Producer, Engineer, and Musician. His work has been nominated for five JUNOs, over a dozen CCMAs, over two dozen WCMAs, and multiple AMPIA awards. In addition to this, his work has also contributed to multiple Multi-Platinum, Platinum and Gold status albums/singles around the world, reaching #1 positions on multiple different iTunes album charts, and has broken the Top 15 on multiple Billboard charts as well as achieving multiple #1 spots in both Country and Jazz radio charts in Canada and Australia. 

He has worked on albums/played with many notable artists and talents in the music industry including: Brett Kissel, Jocelyn Alice, Leaving Thomas, Lindsay Ell, George Canyon, Vinz (Nico and Vinz), Sass Jordan, Human Nature, Raffi, Raghav, Paul Brandt, Dave Pierce, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald,  Transit22, Mackenzie Porter, Chad Brownlee, Joanna Borromeo, Jetty Road, Tommy Banks, PJ Perry, Don Thompson, Guido Basso, Mike Murley and Al Muirhead among many others.

Spencer's mentors include world renowned 8x Grammy Award winning LA based mixer Manny Marroquin (Katy Perry, Rihanna, Kanye West, Eminem, Bruno Mars, John Mayer etc), and legendary 8x Grammy Award winning NYC based mixer Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Colbie Caillat, John Mayer etc). As well as Grammy Award winning Tony Maserati (Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Jason Mraz, James Brown, Mariah Carey, Notorious BIG, Black Eyed Peas, Destiny’s Child, R. Kelly, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Puff Daddy and Tupac Shakur). Being able to learn/study first hand from these masters has proved to be invaluable to Spencer and his studio career.
