JJ Shiplett stands as a prominent Americana-Roots singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and captivating storyteller. Boasting over 10 million global streams, he is known for leaving an indelible mark on audiences with his rugged and commanding vocals.

Shiplett has shared the stage with renowned acts such as The Sheepdogs, Serena Ryder, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jim Cuddy, Ben Harper and Johnny Reid. 

In 2024, JJ wowed audiences at Americana UK in London, performed 2 shows at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX, and showcased at C2C in Berlin. Shiplett also performed at Americanafest in Nashville in 2023. He was direct support for the multi-platinum JUNO award-winning rock band, The Sheepdogs, on their recent Backroad Boogie tour across Western Canada and for Serena Ryder holiday shows in 2023. Furthermore, Shiplett’s performance history includes a sold-out performance at the esteemed Studio Bell in Calgary’s National Music Centre in 2022.
